I've got this at the moment. They have a form asking you to declare what the mileage was at the time that the policy began. Mine is a 1500 mile a year policy, but its done 300 already just bringing it back from when I bought it
Still, haven't filled out the form yet.........

Just say someone else was driving it under their own policy, not yours.
As long as you still do the majority of the miles there's nothing they can say or do.

Its easily checked, especially with people admitting it in public. Mine is 1000 miles on the Corsa - not with Flux but still limited. MOT certs show about 700 ish a year.

I think you must declare the car with not pass the mileage not that you wont drive more than the mileage you state unfortunately.

My yellow Corsa was insured for 3000 miles a year.
In the first year, I put 9k on it (doubling the mileage ), but they never bothered checking the mileage in the first place, so there's no way they could have accused me of going over
Seemed really strange to me TBH.
That was Tesco though.
