Do it online. Its really easy! Just type in the reg. of the car and its basically done! You will get a letter a week later saying its sorned!

just dont leave your car on the road or even lay by's off the road or your car will transform into a big metal block.

You can SORN the car online.
It doesn't cost anything, and when you want to tax it you just do it as usual.
