imagine this.....
Very wet track
arse happy 911 with no driving aids
fast flat out 3rd gear left hander
I was doing a trackday http://www.trackscotland.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=151 in the 911 as the skyline is misbehaving again.
It was very wet and very slippery. Two corners (both tight 2nd gear right turns) were giving me issues and spun on them both a fair amount of time
The fast left hander had never given me any jip until this time... i went through the corner at prob around 85'ish at about 80% throttle..... the car went light.... .... the arse stepped out... held for a while then did a 540deg spin and slid sideways and backwards towards the tyres.... Still not sure how the fuck i managed to save it but i was steering and skidding backwards in what felt liek slow motion
This was the same corner that an elise wiped out on and smashed the GRP side body of the car about 20mins earlier :/
