To be honest they aren't that unreliable but having said I would deff feel more comfortable with a 5 onwards.

Have a feeling it won't stay standard for long. Get him on the MLR Well don't if he doesn't want to get carried away

lol Nik.

He's considering getting a dump valve, he knowns if anything, it'll make it slightly slower. But I think he wants one anyway.

I'm used to driving a 1L 12V Corsa, and to be taken out in an Evo 4 was just amazing.

Firstly go for an exhaust and decat plus a decent air filter set up. Should release quiet a few ponys and sound great Good luck with it, sure he'll have fun!

"crankwalk" engine f**ked drop V+ engine in and the rear diffs also fail so owners have reported!

When I said pretty much standard, I was meaning internally. As Nik mentioned there have been a few mods added to it already.

The font bumper I wasn't too sure about in the picture, but it looks great.

In addition, the grip is amazing! Not once did it wheel spin, even with all that pulling power. It sticks to the roads very well going round corners as well.
