Hi all,

Sorry I haven't been about the last few weeks... Most of you will know me from my 2.0 8v Turbo Corsa build

And my daily drive is this Calibra









Unfortunetely I do a lot of miles to work everyday (56 each way) and the milage on the cally's engine was starting to show so I thought it time I brought a new car thats:

Modable
Economical
Quick
Fun
Cheap to run and Insure

And the car that fitted the bill was this, say hello to my 54 plate Skoda Fabia VRS



It was already partly modified (LCR Slitter, 16" Octavia rims, Eibach Springs, PD160 Intake) And immediately I did a couple of mods myself (Silver indicator bulbs, Silver aerial).

The day after I purchased it it looked like this and took part in the Modball Rally (The Corsa was supposed to be going but didn't get mapped in time! doh!)



Within the last week the Fabia has completed 3000miles across europe with another 130 Modified cars.

Here's the launch at the Milleniun Dome



And headed over the channel towards Amsterdam





And on to the Autobahn's in Germany



(The car hit 140mph on the clocks)

At this point the cars in the rally got deported from Germany and all the stickers taken off. (Long story)

Thanks to the diesel smoke we made our own stickers on the rear...lol



I set the brakes onfire on day 2 trying to keep up with a skyline...lol

And after a weeks driving 3000 miles and 9 countries this is how the car arrived back home





I have to say... The car did fantastically well!!! I was very impressed overall. The only big improvements that need addressing soon are the brakes and high speed stability. With that in mind future planned mods are:

TT Brake upgrade
Jabba Antiroll bar
KW Coilovers
18" RS4 Rims
And of course a remap being a diesel and all.

The Calibra will be forsale soon if anyone's interested PM me, if it gets no interest it'll be broken for parts.

And this is where im at with the Corsa.... Its at my Local Rolling Road ready for mapping sometime this week

Nice car, what sort of mpg were you getting??

Also - any pics of a VRS on 18" RS4 rims??

remap and pd160 intake , shud b lookin at 180-190 bhp and silly torque
love it

Well it was in the 40's till I learn't how to drive it. Yesterday on a 70mile journey I averaged 57.1 MPG But that was with me driving like a saint lol.

No pics that I can find of the New RS4's on the VRS. Hopefully i will be the first

Your calibra is so fecking cool, I think they are ugly fuckers normally but yours looks superb.

I'll do a full report of the Modball on Corsasport soon (got 100's of pics)

And 120 cars got a police Escort out of Germany and a 200 Euro Impound charge but all will be revealed as to why soon )

Yep Corsa will DEFO be at Trax...... I hope Its supposed to be going to the Nurburgring a week Thursday if Mapping goes to plan.

And the Mapper is confussed because it wouldn't start for 5 hours I'll write about it all in my WIP thread.
