well am not sure about jap cars but i no most bmw other such cars autos r slightly slower

ok well..
1st reason was cos i got it very cheap... my good mate needed to sell asap so i got it at a good price.
2nd reason i can convert it to manual and sell for a nice tidy profit.
3rdly as fad said the autos are thought to be quicker due to the fact tha keep constant boost through out the gears. they never loose boost on acceleration. and plus you reckon you can change geasr quicker than a auto box can??
its like driving a go kart.
i love it. so easy to drive, and as i said if i get bored ill convert it to manual.

but the auto box doesn't know that in the next corner you want second does it :S
