Write "my resignation" on a sheet of paper, walk up to you boss and say "can I hand this into you please", turn around, clap your hands and walk away

If it was somerfield I was working at and never planned to go back, i'd just say "see ya tomorrow" to everyone like usual, then just never turn up ever again
Done that at a job before. Was ace

....in fact, i've done that at two jobs before, the best being the pizza hut delivery boy
Started working there. Did one shift and thought it was shit. Went in the next night to do the next shift, delivered one pizza, then on my next run I couldn't find the house and got so pissed off I just parked up and ate the pizza Then I went home, kept the float and the '30min or over' vouchers (3 of them), then got a mate to redeem them the next day and had 3 more free pizzas

I badgered them for my salary for the 1 & 1/2 shifts too and actually got it (minus the float)

I have enjoyed my time working at (place of work) and I would like to thank you and everybody for making my time at (place of work) enjoyable. I would also like to thank you for all the training I have received as part of my job as it has given me a great insight into customer service. I wish both you and (place of work) every good fortune and would like to thank you once again for having me as part of the team.
