EGR valves can stick and they can sort themselves out, but it will happen again.....

i had mine come on coming off the motorway one time, i shat myself and rang the RAC, by the time he got there he started it the light didn't come on and the car seemed fine, it came on again on the way home via A roads, then went off then on again, second EGR to go in 8 months  it was fixed under warrenty though

ive had this problem since ive had my car! had the egr changed at least 4 times, had tech 2 and ecu resets bout 7 times and still my eml comes on now. learnt just to put up with it now really

can sounds soooo funny when there stuck open mine kept stallin when i came to any stand stil had to use the handbrake to slow me down as i had to keep the revs at 1k
