My mates CL 500 has almost done 100k. The books say that his car should have 306BHP yet i can keep up with him. Needless to say he was pissed off that he has spent £15k for his and a little £1k corsa can keep up.

Anyway, he read in PPP mag that on a porsche 928 i think it was, if you change the Air flow meter it will bring back some of that lost power.

I thought that was strange too but he wanted to try that on his.

Anyway, he has just come round to mine from work and taken me out for a drive in it

It is a lot quicker. I am shocked by how much it feels to have gained back.

How has this happened and do you think that'll work on all cars?

airflow meter is basically telling the ecu how much air is passing into the engine so how much fuel to chuck at it, im guessing if and old one gets gunked up its not going to fuel efficiently thus lose power

Update.....

Now his car is back to standard it's now faster than mine. As it should be (bartard).

Coz we have been out storm chasing (as you do) and he over took me .

But my Toyo T1R's are FANTASTIC!!!!

Been driving at silly speeds not looking at me speedo but watching the country lanes for deep standing water.... Then realised i was doing 70 and it still felt safe.

So if Eagle F1's are better than the T1R's then can't wait to try them next.

Different drivers......

P.E.U.G.E.O.T 1.0.6 G.T.I

C.I.T.R.O.E.N S.A.X.O V.T.S

An extra letter so the saxo weighs more.

What was that clarkson video and the best handleing cars and they had the GTI and not the VTS....

Must be a difference some where.......

Whats the point in having the same car on there if they were both built in the same factory, by the same people, possesing the same parts. FFS trust me there the same.
