painting a friends car soon, never painted a full car.

it'll be 2 pack, i want to flat and polish the lacquer when its done.

is this the right sorta thing i need, i have used a friends polisher before but was a 2 speed and felt too fast as if it'd burn the fresh paint.

seems the right idea to me?

so it's single pack? you're base will dry matt, then you lacquer over the top. what lacquer are you using? dont go cheap, as it will yellow. advise him it's well worth paying a little extra for a quality finish that will last longer.

tbh mate i'd use something like an ICI 2K extra high solid commercial paint. it will last longer. and cost wise will prob end up cheaper! for you anyway

the neon fades after 6-12 months anyway, not costing me anything anyway

i phoned up about every paintshop in scotland and this was the only place i could get neon, and they had to order it in, so i took what i could get
