i ran the ek9 a good few times,

standard it should be 185bhp.

went to rollers, 210bhp, didnt believe it.

went to maha rollers, calibrated 2 days before, 205bhp.

added panel filter, manifold, downpipe, decat, centre and back box, back to same maha rollers, made 208bhp.

as dave says, it shouldnt be used to measure power, but as a tool to test modifications in my eyes.

not a lot, not very precise or clear. Well lane have an old dyno, works on inertia rather than any electronic or computer calculations. compare that with a graph from a modern dyno. however you cant tell its accuracy figure wise from that.

mine made 446 today at a different rolling road usinf different rollers and calibration/data logging shit

How do manufacturers get there figures for their engines then? Must be pretty accurate?

manufacturers test the engines in a closed cell dyno out of the car.
