on my way to work they have just put aload of them black rubber strips on the road (a61 towards harrogate) its not just 1 0r 2 thers about 10 - 15 of them, what do the ones look like that have the cameras, are they measuring speed over distance?

are they across both sides of the road? usually to measure traffic flow i think not speed

ye they are but i dont get why theres so bloody many of them on same rd guna have a count on way home

yup, but i know some of them can be speed cameas, they have little grey boxs at one side of rd but unsure what the camera ones look like

Naaa, they won't be speed cameras. Those boxes manage traffic flow at different times of the day etc. There is no way they could measure speed, because every car is a different length.
