i got my mum shampoo and conditioner yesterday as she wasnt able to get it. anyway its bedhead and came to £50! so what a suprise i get home its the wrong stuff! I went in today to get a refund and they said they wont do it, even though it has clearly not been open and ive got the reciept. Anyway theres none of them signs saying we dont accept refunds or you can refund up to 28days.
Do I have a leg to stand on or do i just have to get over it?

Legally goods must only be fit for purpose and of good quality - which they are?

They are under no obligation to refund although they may exchange as a good-will shop policy?

They do not have to refund as goods are fit for purpose etc as Ian says but what they should do is let you exchange or get a credit note.
