Been in retail for around 12 years now and worked my up from 8 hrs to a duty manager, Really want to change and something better..Im getting really down at the mo and hate going to work, I was even thinking of being on the sick which is not like me at all.
What do u folks do for a living and do u like it?

I hated Retail work, even though I only did Part Time I could tell it wasn't for me.
I'm a Stock Controller for a Distribution Company. Started as a temp, then few years down the line I ran my own section, now i'm in the Offices keeping tabs on our Stock. It's not too bad, I prefer it up here compared to when I was on the warehouse floor.

I need a job in the motor trade. Otherwise i get bored and fed up of going to work in the morning.
I used to work as a proactive computer tech for interbrew (they make stella). I got about £8 an hour and got LOADS of free beer but after less than a year i was fed up.
Now i get to talk to people about cars all day, and even though the wages are much less i dont mind getting up for work in the morning.

service desk operator, been in helpdesks since i left college worked my way to team leader and moved on trying same again, but i want a career change, been looking at forces as a trainee engineer

Fabricator/Welder - I did that for 8 years
Drawing Controller - Architectural drawing distribution, did it for 1 year before getting fed up
Customer Service Representative - Current job of 2 weeks. So far I have been matching and updating bank account details. Steady away so far.
