how do people smooth the ridge in on bumpers, fibre glass and body filler? surely that would crack after time..

i dont have facilities to plastic weld ...if its easy say how...

cut strips if plastic that can be placed int he ridge. get a soldering iron and fill in the ridge by melting plastci strip. then sand down to get a smooth finish
(p.s. by the way i've never done this so don't know how easy it is. i've just read it somewhere)

Fibreglass and filler easiest way.
My old Sport has a smooth front, and it still hasnt cracked, been on since about October 06
