as mav said it happens all the time, company just argues how much sickness costs them and states that they have worked with the trade union to come up with a solution, blah blah blah, to be fait there would be no need for such a scheme if so many people didnt take the piss with sick days, iv been in full time employment for 5 years iv only ever had 2 days of sick.

im sure theres something a company can do if some one is off all the time, disease or not.

obviously if some one is off more time than they are at work, why should a company keep paying them.

well they only get statutory sick pay after a while but u get what i meen.

Woman at my old work had just over 20 days off sick in the year, she had more days off sick than I had hols

She also took a day off when her daughter started her period And would say 'oh ill MAKE THE TIME UP at home'

Actually I remember making a thread about it when she that day off for her daughters period

if you're off sick all the time, genuine or not. you're no good for the company. as you cannot do the job.
