NOT A FUCKING CHANCE I'm afraid young man. I've driven both on the limit and 106 cannot compare to the stability of the VXR.
please ollie you talk some crap sometimes, i dont believe you have driven both on the limit for a start, you test drove one on public roads, you would not have pushed it to the limit, and I doubt you've even properly pushed a 106 to the limit
the vxr in that vid understeers all over the place, you dont get any understeer in the 106 at all

Look you fcuking RETARD a 106 GTI IS NOT THE BEST CAR IN THE WORLD AND YOU BORE THE FUCK OUT OF ME WITH YOUR SHIT.
I drove the VXR as did TomSBD around Brunthingthorpe flat out and was in the car when a very good driver was trashing the arse off it around the apex's, a 106 GTi would not be able to do what this Corsa was doing at the speed it was doing it at.
The Clio beat it around THAT track, what about a different track? FFS a 106 GTi could beat a Evo around a track if the 106 was setup better for that particular track.
Jesus Christ Steve, the 106 has had its day, both the Clio 197 and the Corsa VXR are faster and better handlers than the 106 GTi now fucking drop it you goon.
no way i dont agree watch that top gear vid with richard burns int he 106 thats how to drive it properly, the vxr does not handle better i would bet my car on it

You really do need to get a proper opinion. I agree entirely with Oly here - both him and I have driven the same car on the same day and we were both impressed by it. We also both have enough driving experience and history of driving good cars to know what is good.
£16k is a bit much for what is essentially a small car with some stick on bits but if I had room in my life I would spend it. No more ridiculous that painting my 13 year old B, which I do because I like that car as well.
im not saying its a bad handling car, i think its ugly thats just my opinion though, but it doesnt handle better then a 106, im not saying its not a better car, im saying it wont handle aswell.
I would bet money on it

Steve - drive the car.
Watching videos on the internet doesn't qualify you to say anything. Oly is making more sense that you are.
THREAD CLOSED AGAIN
