Hia,

If i was to remove my engine+box from the car along with the drive shafts, will the car still be able to move on its four wheels? I remember hearing from somewhere that it either cant move or will destory the hubs or something?

Insight needed, thank you.

the hubs wont be held in by anything apart from whatever is holding it inside the bearing like rust

cant see why not the hubs are still attached to the track rod, bottom arm and roll bar.myt be wrong

the hubs held in by the big bolt on the shaft though. i took all mine out when i did my engine had to move it up the drive a couple of times and nothing happened to mine. probably not best though

keep the shafts in the hubs and just tie them up in the engine bay to stop them draggin

Mine still rolled fine with no engine or box in.

As long as the tie bars and steering rack are still joined to the hub knuckle, it's fine.

dont move it with no shafts u will fuck the hubs. just get some old cvs and put them in

without the weight of the engine and gearbox its not a problem
