These worth paying for?? Im not mechanic and would rather know if the car needs work doing to it before I buy...

RAC Check List Essentials and Essentials Plus

AA similar checks I would have guessed

If you cant check it yourself then it would be a piece of mind I guess.............ive never had one done

makes good sense if you get one of their car loans they give you a free inspection iirc

they do i checked the web site, loan works out a bit more, but wen u take into account the inspection etc, works out cheaper.

Not really, Do your research and check it over your self, the only thing I would recommend for every buy is an hpi check, if a car is cat c or d and you dont know about it you will be sick when ya find out...

When u get a loan comes with Essential check, look at my above link! Thats what it says! But I dont really know!

When Dad enquired fore me bout my Corsa... they only perform visual checks - dont actually test the car. We had an indipendant one done

I would m8, wait until youve seriously narrowed your choice down m8. ie you are 5 mins from buying it pending inspection. could save you 100`s if its a shitter.

i had a RAC check done on a corsa i was gonna get, and it wasnt just a visual check as the tester crashed it on the test drive

what makes me laugh is he blatently was just going to fast for the road, but he tried blaming it on the brakes.


the same brakes he had 20mins earlier check over to make sure they were ok
