Looking to get something as fuel efficient as possbile as i travel 80 miles a day on the motorway

I have a 2.0l Accord sport that does a modest 37MPG but over a few months, it does add up!

I was thinking LPG? what do you guys think? what kind of MPG we talking of a 60 litre tank? (like a Rover 75 with tank in spare-wheel well)

Was thinking of just buying a car that is already converted, not spend 2k to get it done! cheers

The tanks are usually fairly small though. I think they are designed to fit in your spare wheel well normally.

My Calibra is converted. It does 33MPG on Fuel and 29MPG on LPG, on the rolling road it was 4 BHP less (116bhp ias opposed to 120bhp on fuel) The tank in mine is fairly large but the benefits are great!!! Its £17.50 to fill the tank with G@S

if you only put one in ur wheel well you will be filling up quite often, you will need to have a bigger tank ideally
