Hey all,
I joined a while back but havent really posted!

Anyway back to topic, I have 1996 1.2 corsa for a little over a year now, and I've been toying with the idea of selling her for a 1.5 vtec civic. However I've come to my senses and i've decided to stay faithful to vauxhall and give my wee 1.2 a new engine! I'm thinking of sourcing a 1.6 gsi corsa engine and dropping it in! I really havent got much knowlege about engines etc so I'm wondering what exactly i'll need for the swap apart from the obvious engine,ecu and wiring looms? Will I need to change the gearbox etc? Or add power steering? Any help is really appreciated!

geabox yes. need driveshafts as well i think?

Brakes cud be a useful purchase too. Where abouts you from in Ire. Ive a load of family down there

I'm from Dundalk, halfway between Belfast and Dublin, I already have uprated front brakes on her, from a calibra. Can anyone tell me exactly what I need? lol sorry for such a n00b question!

Ah nowhere near dundalk. Well if its ne help im getting a red top conversion and i need clutch, gearbox, brakes and then all the engine shite - cant remember bout driveshaft.
