im upgrading my sound system this week jus needing to know wat alternator fits into a corsa wats more powerful, e.g omega, vectra, astra? does any of these fit perfect or will i need a bracket making?

i dont know about the alternator mate but i would say upgrade the wiring while you are there will help carrying current my mate done it saved him buying a power cap

WHy would the alternator provide any more power, surely the pulley wheel is gonna be turning at the same revolution as the original pulley on the original alternator.
why not jus get a bigger battery ?
Tis what i did on my 1600 sport, i put a 1700 diesel battery on.

no point doing 1 without the other, if you fit a diesel alternator, fit a battery to match.

different alternators produce more amps per hour the 1 wats on mine is making 55 ah. my battery stores 480 amps and can do 105 ah. my sound system does 240 ah. so something needs to be done lol. i jus wana know wats the biggest alternator that will fit.
