I've done all to 25Nm torque, then each one a further 1/4 turn (90 degrees)
will this be enough??
Engine is an X16XEL Block with X16XE Head...

cylinder head 25nm +90 +90 +90 +45 degress.
Have you done the bolts up in the right order?

bolts in right order yes, but to be fair i don't trust the haynes manual in regards to tightness, as the 2 on the timing belt side feel like they are going to strip the thread in the block at any moment...

just reading mig... there saying (on many threads) the 25Nm+90+90+90+45 can cause issues, and 25Nm+60+60+60 is the way to go??

I must have done 15-20 heads with the haynes settings, never had a problem.
