robin ?

with the c12nz things, what does the ecu actually control ?,single point injection, or carb ? and a dizzy, dont have an air temp sensor/air flow either do they

controls fueling and ignition advance, lambda sensor in exhaust not much to them really

It looks like a carb, but it is single point injection (dunno where the injector is) and yeah some with a dizzy and some without.

the injector is on the carb its self.sits right at the top.

I know, just I know all too well how slow they are

Anyway, aye, its really simple, just an injector sitting above the throttle body, nothing to it at all. Suppose all the ECU can can control is the fueling, fuck all else on it

They don't have a carb. They are fuel injection and you can't have a carb and a fuel injector, you have a throttle body and injector.

As above.
No C12nz's had dispaks, the later ones weren't c12nz's. Later ones were X12SZ's iirc(a better engine)

It has a centrally mounted injector in a throttle body, it aint anything like a carb.

The Ecu controls fueling and ignition, C12's ran from a hall sensor in the distributor, later X12's use a crank sensor.
Both use a MAP sensor, no afm etc. They dont have a air temp sensor etc, its quite a basic system. But later ones had a knock sensor, and egr.

Thats an X12SZ mate

with a sun roof, 3.74 axle ratio, 55amp alternator, manual steering and manual headlamp leveling.
