Is the best thing to use a drill with a wire wool attachment!??
I want the smoothest finish possible, as that will make for a smoother coat of paint, and ultimately longer lasting finish (i guess)
Would I need any liquid with this drill/wire wool or would it just ease the rust, etc off itself??
(sorry about all the questions on this, I just wanna make sure its done right so it doesnt look chavvy, lol)
Cheers

tbh i would just use some gunk and a wire brush. Suppose you could use a drill attachment if you have one lling around. Remember to wash all the crap off the calipers when your done and clean them with white spirt/meths so theres no gease on them either before you paint

I used a drill with wire wool attachment. Then went over with a wire brush afterwards. Then gave them a wipe over with white spirit. Cleaned and then painted.

Would be better, white spirit is oily and leaves a residue.
