Doesnt seem to catch unless i have loads of people in the car and i go over a speed hump etc. Its quite a bumpy ride but at the mo i have got standard shocks on it. I think it handles ok though but i dont know what others would think

16s and 50mm
17s used to scrub even with arches rolled, plus looked silly imo, go for 16s

Hi Rach, I think you need matching uprated shocks would handle alot better, stiffer ride and would corner alot better & have less body-roll
I'm lowered on full Spax Dampers, Spax 40mm Front Springs & Spax 40mm Rear Springs Full RSX Kit

I had 17's with my rear arches rolled and flared out. Wheels were ET42 back only use to rub with people in the car and was down 60mm front was down about 50mm ish and use to rub on bumps/hard cornering.
I'm now on 15's and the ride is more comfortable and it seems to accelerate a bit fast, no scrubbing at all

Can i just buy any shocks and put them on then?
I dont think my car looks silly with 17's on but if i had smaller wheels it would look a lot lower.

Yes you can just buy shocks, I have spax but did change them before with Bilsten shocks, which I rate very well
If you had smaller wheels you would have less chance of scrubbage!
