Someone was telling me the other day that you can leave it out and put i bolt in it and it will make it run better is he talking jibber jabber?

No, he's absolutely right. Remove it and cut the wires out the ECU, just so it forgets about it completely.

That way the ECU gets to guess as to how rich/lean the mixture is, rather than have an accurate reading from a dedicated exhaust sensor.

Correct, all new cars have them becuase the manufacturers just enjoy wasting money on things you dont need

Never mind the fact that your ECU is programmed to have a lambda

It's all just a scam to get money out you. The bastards have been getting away with fitting springs and seat belts to cars for years. We should revolt.

My car didn't have a Lambda when I first did the conversion... Was good for 170 miles per tank.

Put the lambda in and it gets 250+ average.
