where can i get free sand bag's like the ones used to block doors in floods? i'm organising the float for the local gala and it's army theme so i thought it would be quite good to build a sort of fort using sand bags! any other ideas are welcome

contact a local building supplies compnay, tell them what you are doing and ask if you can borrow some for the afternnon.

yeah i've seen them on there so just need to see if the company will pay out for it! i'm not paying for it myself they don't pay me enough lol

its a 2nd world war museum in malton, north yorkshire called eden camp
used to work there on weekends when I was at school replacing sandbags!
I have filled thousands of the buggers
they should be able to help/give you thier suppliers number

i noticed that i'm not too fussed if they're empty coz i can find sand easy enough! i just don't really want to have to buy them because the company wont put any money towards them and i need about 30!
