York Motor Factors, battery was £13 cheaper than Halfords and oil (Shell) was about £6 cheaper.

get a hlafords trade card.

I bought a battery 2 weeks ago from halfords: came down from £57 to £26 and also got 2 years extra warranty

No seriously, I paid £15 premium membership on VoXN (Vauxhall Owners Network) and I got the card 10 days later

I would consider getting the front crank seal done while your having the cambelt changed. Both my scoobs started leaking and contaminated the belt so it had to be changed again...
