we have a place round the corner that we can use to fit tyres etc, cant warrant spending any money on tyre fitting equipment. they werent open on the day I let the monkeys loose on the car though

nope, they dont have enough skill to even put a wheelbolt on properly, I am doing all of the work, they are just going to struggle with getting the snapped locking wheelnut bolts out of the rear wheels and then pay me £499.

if thats the case, are you sure they wernt 'special' hubs, retailing at 300 a piece?

Im paying myself £40 an hour to fix my own car anyway, asking for £300 for the hubs is a bit too far dont you think

for 'special hubs' dave, no, tell them thats trade price and not what you paid. ps 40 an hour? i charge 50 an hour for my labour so your undercutting yourself a bit there

ill tell them you are doing it then, thats an extra £50 for labour and £600 for 'special hubs'

I dont see how you can get wheel nuts that tight with a windy gun that it needs 2 people to undo them.

neither do I. they must have some huge compressor. The Snap-on tool guy was there while we were taking them off, he couldnt belive how tight they were. then again, the air impact wrenches they use there are huge!
