I don't think it's fake, you don't know the age of the kid, and kids learn thinks quickly, like I say, it's no different to a farm animal book...

Yeah, they have the ability to swim in a pool when they're born. Put them in water and they won't drown.
They lose it though, and have to learn it again

could be an old kid who has some sort of weird disease which means they can't grow up or age?
i've seen it before where it was a really old person but had the same body and height etc as a small toddler.
