Thinking about selling the GSI and getting something diesel whilst im still a student..

what would you go for...

was considering

306 HDI
astra cdti

any others? corsa C diesel like?

preferably a 3 door though!

Audi A3/A4 1.9 TDi, propably looking at pretty old & high miles for £3k though!!

pretty high milers for that price had a look already..

mk4 goof would be nice, again a bit over budget, thats something i could possibly increase..

any gen on golf gt tdi?

There's a really nice Arosa TDI on ebay at the moment. Only downside is that its in Ireland

But its much cheaper than book price & it wouldn't cost more than £500 to import it

Search for Arosa TDI on ebay, there aren't many on there

Your not going to get near a GTTDI golf for 3k! 306 dturbo's are cheaper than hdi's for obvious reason

Arosa's are fairly spacious for what they are! The TDI is the one to go for aswell!

Arosa is way to small for me.. couldnt live with that car personally!

Thought yours was LET? It has Wolfrace wheels, look similar to yours but i am looking at you avator which makes the wheels look 1cm!

The hdi, is the newer more refined engine, quiter, not mechanical, you have to get a remap to realise more horses. dturbo, is old mechanical engine, which you can tweek turbo and fuel pump for free, sounds more like a tractor though, but are dirt cheap these days.

go for the 306 hdi,i had the older dturbo,was nippy enuf but as said sounds like a tractor.the newer hdi is quiter and more refined and is quite often mapped to 130bhp without any probs or other mods.

HDI's are obviously Series 2's which imo are nicer. I think it's called moonstone blue, it's sexy.
