Sorry, I assumed you'd be talking about the car in the pic

Not sure about the difference on the V8 ones, can't find anything.

Definitely agree - it has serious road presence. The arches are are much wider than a standard S-line, or even S4. In black, they look seriously mean.

I've never understood how Audi get the power from their engines. Take the E46 M3, straight 6 engine, has 1bhp less/more than the current S4, which is a V8

probably just stronger internals, different ecu and exhaust, air intake system.

not sure about the s4 but the rs4 v8 revs to 8k

*v8 models

414bhp from a V8 is harder than 414bhp from a straight 6, V8s don't like revving, straight sixes do.

Are you going to argue over what? 6bhp or whatever it is?

Anyway, the E46 M3 makes similar power to the B6/7 S4, the E90 M3 makes similar power to the B6/7 RS4, so my point is still valid.

deano im unsure what you mean? 340bhp from the straight 6 is more impressive than the 320ish bhp from the s4 v8

When I started talking about M3's, I said E46.

meh, I thought it was harder to get more power from smaller engines. (I was merely thinking about the Corsa VXR and Renaultsport Clio).

mk4_astra - that is what I meant.

My head hurts.
