I need to renew my insurance in about a month, will I need to tell the insurance company that I'm inending of lowering with springs only? Also, would they be funny for putting alloys off another vauxhall and not declaring them?
I am aware that Exterior mods are not so hated by company's and if you crash and they're not declared it comes out of your pocket i.e. insurance pay for standard items only.

Yes you will need to tell them about the springs. As far as im aware, even if its vauxhall you will still have to tell them about it. Also i dont think they pay for standard items. You insurance will be void and they wont pay for anything.
Declare the mods mate.

Oh, I was going to declare them, trust me. I was wondering more about the springs than anything because to me they're not a thing that would Increase performance tbh.
Thanks for the reply mate

Doesn't matter if it increases performance or not, you should declare it.
Springs may not improve BHP, but you can corner quicker....thats where the increase in premium comes from.
