I was going a little too fast, but as I have already said, I wasn't going that fast. I just had to much understeer, I was turning, but the car was going straight.

removing the spare wheel from a 12v corsa will have a similar effect to having a poo before you set off

if you had a set of coilovers adjusted to the correct settings, you wouldnt get understeer.

oversteer is the way forward imo........if i understeer i rip the handbrake to correct itself.

Because it's safer.

Oversteer is less easy to control.

And when you crash with oversteer you normally do it properly. Understeer crashes are bent wheels.

Ive oversteered countless times in the 200, very easily to correct, Ive ended up backwards once down a back road, but to be fair I had just kicked the clutch.

You already know you were going too fast, its a pity you didnt realise the dangers of over steer / driving a twat before as you'd have saved yourself the effort
