i can see the paddle clutch but not the flywheel... has it completely gone!?

From reading the bit on MIG he has had his standard one lightened and it was done wrong so gave up.
Plus paddle clutchs are hardcore

Well fly wheels store energy, and lots of it. So it's not something you want to fuck about with unless you know 100% what you are doing.

Many people have been seriously injured over the years in grass routes types of motorsport through this type of accident. On a RWD car it is likely to come straight through the bulkhead

Bloke I used to work with knew someone who got decapitated in a similar accident, he was sitting in his garage, revving the car up having just made some adjustments or something and kapow, flywheel shot up through the car and took his head off apparently
