How long does it usually take to come through? It's been over 3 weeks since I got the Mini and still no sign of the new V5, I need it asap so I can change plates.

Dont know tbh, the previous owner has to do that. He gave us the tear off slip but the company selling the plate need the full V5 to change the registration over

Have you got the green new keeper slip?
You can swap your number plates over with that, and a v62 which your DVLA local office will have

Yeah, I have the green tear off slip, but the company selling the car have said they need the full new V5 before they can register the new plate with DVLA

You take the green slip and fill out a new request for V% slip with the new private reg at the office in edinburgh they will swap it over just with that.
