Been thinking about getting a punch bag again, last one I had was wall mounted, bracket didnt seem up to the job and bent out of shape after a while, pulling alot of brick out of the wall with it.

Is it ideal to hang them?

Thinking of setting it up in the garage

I have one in the summer house at my mums. Used the ceiling bracket it came with, but used the thickest (about 12mm) screws that would fit through the holes and bolted it to a 4" thick piece of wood. I then put this across two of the roof truces.

Seems to be holding it fine with no problems.

Just find a scary woman holding a crappy exhaust outside a nightclub, cheaper than a punchbag.

Is that the norm in Sittingbourne?

My mate never mentioned that and he's from there, could explain a lot.

mine is in the garage, the garage roof has beans runnning across.

We secured a block between 2 beams and secured the bag with industrial strength cable ties. Im 100kg, the bags about 30kg and i can hang off it no probs been up for over a yr n its solid.

Ill take a pic 2nyt.
