I can't remember as its ages since I bought my other plate. Anyone know/remember?

Also, am I right in thinking that as soon as its come through I can take it to my local office that same day & have it put on? (Pretty sure that is what happened last time)

certificate came through in about 7 days for me. I sent my documents off, as soon as i got them back I could put the plates on. IF you are going to the office and they sort it out there and then, you can put them on straight away

A few days, but it took a month to get it on the car due to my name apparently being too long.

plate docs came thro within 5 working days for me, went straight down dvla office and had new tax disc made and docs. put new plates on staright away
