Morning all,

As a couple of you may know i have provisionally booked Llandow circuit for a trackday on monday 20th of August.

I have set it at 20 cars only and the day is based on an open pit day, with just a few sighting laps first thing in the morning until the head marshal is happy. Its an ideal day for beginners or more experienced trackday people as the track wont be crammed.

I have based the fee required on the hire of the circuit split 20 ways, making it only £110 per car which imo is cheap considering the limit and type of day.

NOW THE IMPORTANT BIT

I have 6 places left at the moment. The only harsh requirement to all this is i will need paying immediately as my intentions are to collect the money and pay the day outright instead of just placing a deposit and risking loosing a hell of alot of money (I am only one man and not a club).

If you would like a place and can send a cheque asap please PM me for details. It has been set as first paid first served for obvious reasons :beer:

Ok, ill keep this brief, as more info will added closer to the time for people who haven't been before.


Llandow circuit.



Where is it?
Llandow is situated 20 miles west of Cardiff in the Vale of Glamorgan near the country towns of Cowbridge and Llantwit Major.

Postcode:- CF71 7PB

Nearest motorway is the M4, llandow is accessible from either J33 or J35 depending which direction you are coming from

Circuit Details
Length = 1450m
Width = 9m

Noise Limitation
105db This is an extremely lenient noise limit considering other circuits in the country.

Acommodation
There are Travel lodges off each junction, ill add details closer to the time.

Apologies for the long post and stupid requests regarding payment but i thought i would just give this idea a go, if it pans out ok i may try and organise more in different area's next year and open up the bookings from the start. This is merely a tester to get feedback :thumb:

Just to add, this isn't joining in with another trackday, it is an exclusive day just for 20 people, all day open pit, and mostly novas/corsas

ok jas, tbh i am pushing to get this signed and sealed so its really a first paid first serve only basis. As ian said this isnt an everyday trackday, i have done this on my own back so i intend to try and pay the day off in one hit instead of just a deposit due to the consequences. I am just one man after all.

I have set it a few months ahead to allow people chance to sort themselves out etc, its just a shame the financial side cant be the same way Its about as cheap as an open pit event can get at that time of year, especially considering the low amount i have set it at

What power or engine the cars have isnt really an issue, its a trackday afterall

that is one of my favourites amongst my track posing shots i'll be honest, all be it alot less on two wheels than i felt the year before. the car is driving within its and my limits which luckily with a good spec means they are hopefully beyond my reach

To anyone considering this but unsure about handing over cash to a stranger lol, Dan is completely trustworthy, altho the pic above may suggest he's a bit of a lunatic
The trackday will be awesome, that is a cast iron DHdev (Oli) gaurantee! Been to Llandow with these boys before and even though my car wasn't working it was an absolutely fantastic day. The last CS trackday at Brands was great, but most had gripes with other users of the track, at this day it will be basically a big group of friends with a race track as ur playround (no sillyness or we won't get allowed bk ).
Without a shadow of a doubt worth double the money Dan is able to offer this day at! It'll be a great oppurtunity to test your car and your own limits and gain tips and advice from some of the most experienced (Dans about 100yr old) and knowledgeable Vauxhall and trackday orientated people about
