depends on how its treated, well serviced ones can last years and years, ragged to death ones will last a short time till the conrod shoots out the side of the block!!

i've just hit 110k with mine.no worries at all as yet touch wood.brilliant little engine.will be treating it to a cambelt and headgasket wen i next get a chance.
