Great.

Have already spent £60 on brakes and servicing parts to get this stupid thing through the MOT, and money to pay my mate to fit/do them.

Needs two new CV gators. Had to order two different sets from vauxhall because they dont know which ones are for my car.

Now my mate cant fit these, so im stuck with hanving to go to a garage and with these stupid gators that I cant fit.

I earn £200 a month, at revising like funk for my A levels and do not have time for this.

Had enough with the heap tbh!

inner or outer gaitors mate?

You can get universal ones from autofactors which are split down the middle, no need to take shaft out just cut to size, slide over and glue

Its up to YOU to know what your car has. Not the parts department at your vauxhall garage. I hate people that say...

"i want a wing mirror"

me: "ok, electric or manual operated?"

"well i dont know....its a corsa"

What's your full Reg? I will tell you which outer CV boot kit you need

SHOULD SAY ON THE MOT FAILURE SHEET which cv gator you need (inner or outer)

universal ones dont need the d.shaft taken out.

I havent had an MOT tho, but I know enough to know they are going to fail. I am not paying the how ever much it is just to get the MOT failure sheet either.

Its the bit behind the brakes on the front, rubber bit that looks like a ford gear stick gator! Its held on bymetal clips (well one of mine is held on by a cable tie )

Will these universal ones pass an MOT?

My car failed it's MOT last week as well - I have it back now though - It's failed on the CV boot. The worst thing is me and my Dad noticed it was split, and fitted a new one, it still managed to fail for it though
