i've just got back in from going for a spirited drive round country lanes. and my brakes squel(sp) now. i had to basically do an brake really heavily from 60odd as i forgot that there was a junction comin up. and a few other times involved me braking really heavily. will this have done any damage? to them and is the squeling just because they were very hot?

edit: brakes are 2lt turbo ones had new disks and pads about 4 or 5 months ago.

no just wandering if lots of heavy brakeing damaged them.

Take off your wheels and have a look. Chances are you just need a bit more copper grease on the back of your pads
