can i offer a buy it now price via email to the seller on an item that is in auction that it already being bidded on
bit of a random question but was wondering.

its against ebay rules to sell outside of ebay so you wont be able to send a Buy it now function like you get on auctions. you will just have to give a price you want and they will send payment through which ever method.

gets on ebayers nerves big time as sellers sometimes have dozens of offers. impo best option is to place a max bid and come back to it once you no it has finnished

i can see your point but sometimes sellers like to avoid final value fees on ebay aswell

you can end the item early and relist with the agreed buy it now.
So ask him to do it if he wants
