serviced it this morning.... man that thing likes oil!
11l of semi synth Shell Helix 10w40...
I've actually done near on 2000 miles in the year i've had it! Most of them will have been in the last month too! Its been used a fair bit (as our main car) since the mass clearout of the other cars!
Its last service was on 25/05/06 at 73031 miles
Serviced it today 23/04/07 at 74983 miles
Old MOT's
2006/07 - 73770miles
2005/06 - 72059miles
2004/05 - 70327miles
2003/04 - 67856miles
2002/03 - 66253miles
2001/02 - 66018miles
2000/01 - 65612miles
1999/00 - 63541miles
1998/99 - 58759miles
1997/98 - 57984miles
1996/97 - 50310miles
so... 24673miles in 10years nearly an average of 2500miles a year in the last 10years and about 2800miles a year over its 26year life.

17l Mental, i'd have a fit if my cars took that much (don't think they take that much between them).
My SV was dry sumped...... Thats why it blew up...... (wasn't "meant" to be )

dale mentioned that
its not mine, although mine is on Piston heads for 14k
I think that one advertised in Aberdeen is a newer 3.2 Carrera isnt it? 1986 or so?
Mines a 1981 SC 'Super Carerra'

mine or the 86 Carrera?
Think mine is worth about 10-12k
Mate just (few months ago) sold an '87 3.2 Carrera coupe, white for 6k though... 180k miles....
There are quite a few of the 3.2 Carrera's around, but a good one will still be worth 10+
