1000 isnt a lot to put into shares... or ISA ...

just save it in a high interest account - you are bound to need it sometime

Too late, I left my Premium Bonds alone and put 1k in to an ISA saver last month.

I have 5k in a high interest savings account from a claim I had, so thought I'd invest this 1k that I had in another account.

Surprised I found this thread!

Halifax removed the ISA Investors from their website for a while. I logged in yesterday and it is back and currently showing at £1050. Highest it ever got was £1100 and the lowest was £500

It is advised you keep them for 5 years. So here we are 5 years later!

I have just been on the phone to the bank to get the forms to withdraw the funds! I dread to think what interest I have missed out on. As for the bonds, I got a cheque the other month for £25.

Just spend it. Get nothing for having 1k in the bank

Put it towards a holiday or city break in new York or Vegas
