Okey dokey, so a couple of days ago i noticed a funny noise from the engine .... Nothing mechanical - so like everyone else i turned up my music abit and hoped it wud sort itself out

Came to drive the car today and it's making the same noise, but now a little bit louder - So this time i decided to take a quick look - Nothing obvious, but then the clutch pedal began to vibrate - Does this smack of the release bearing ???

Thanks, sorry for essay

Its a hard sound to just say tbh, the reason i think it might be this is due to a couple of things

1) Bearings make a noise wen there worn, so does this
2) Cos its worn its begun to vibrate - hense the pedal ...

It's not a sound u can jus say, sorry lol

The clutch release bearing would only make a noise when the clutch was pressed.

could be lots of things mate, even a knackered engine/gearbox mount can do it.

I would get the car up in the air and investigate, look around the linkage area, see whats vibrating.
