Well today i was simply running around to sort the car out before it gets picked up for its respray on friday! I live in Nottingham - Eastwood.
Here we are having a HUGE run of police, around 100 cars have been compounded in the last month. Police cameras all over and i can't travel 5mins without seeing one.
I have been driving around for awhile saying one day ill get pulled by one of these coppers due to my rear number plate being in the back window!
Anyway today i was driving back from the garage, windows down, sunroof open and a nice bit of music, minding my own business when on the other side of the road i saw a police car, i just ignored him and drove past like normal, although i did see him look at me so i thought watch him turn around. Traffic light junction behind me (so he could turn around) I kept looking in my rear mirror as he closed in on the junction and much to my suprise, BLUE lights turn on, turns around, comes flying up the road, once within 100 yards of my car the lights turn off, at this current time im just about to pull off at the roundabout, so i countined, police car is now on the inside lane (turn left on next exit only) again no lights on, i was on the right hand lane going to head for the A610, of course im fully aware that the police car is right behind me, watch for the lights to turn on and pull me over, however i did the speedlimits, singals and everything to the law, with nothing to force them to pull me, i went down the A610 the police car took the wrong lane and cut the car up behind me, rather than following me he took the exit after me and carried on his way...
Interesting day out! but i was suprised he just took one look at my car and came flying after me...i wasn't even doing anything wrong!
Entertainment! maybe he just likes modded cars

Had something similar happen to me. Lone copper in a 307 coming the opposite way at about 10pm at night. He did a U-turn at a set of lights and sat behind me for a bit, then up the side of me, then dropped back again. Went round a city ringroad, then came off it with him still following me. Coming out of town, at every island, he'd come up by the side of me in the right hand lane, no indicator, then do a a lap of the island and put his foot down to catch up with me. Coundn't help but laugh at the pathetic attempts to try and catch me out .

Probably was, but it doesn't take 15 minutes/about 4 miles to do that, and the whole changing lanes/island thing was a bit pointless .

i got pulled once because "i could see the metal bit on the seatbelt flicker" i had harnesses on but the previous owner had left the original seatbelts in place so they were constanly undone with the metal bit at the top, how the copper saw it from the side i dont know, nothing at all to do with the full combat kit, alloys, bucket seats, exhaust and 17 year old driving
almost forgot he then took it upon himself to poke and prod everything on my car and found sod all, thatll teach him lol

I had a copper following me this morning but staying well back. Everytime I turned, he followed. I then got to where I was going to and parked up. They just had to drive past as I got out.

Probably came up behind you thinking there was no rear plate, then switched off the blues when he saw it in your window.
People need to break out of this mindset that the Police are always trying to find something to do you for, at the end of the day, if everything's in order with your car, you have no worries.
On the other hand, if you look like a dodgy git, you'll probably get pulled a fair bit anyway.

Well the dodgy git bit maybe! had another tonight, went out towards mansfield, on the way home down a nice little hill, been stuck at traffic lights for a good 3-4mins (road work ones)
So i put my foot down as they went green (40mph zone) shoot up to 40 then rolled down the hill staying on the brakes, behind me (good 300yards back) was a slower driver it seemed behind him another copper! he must have seen me fly off from the start, then he pulled out into the on-coming side of the road saw me only a little down the road and pulled back in! bless them

had a police car follow me numerous times. maybe because i do look like a dodgy cunt
one followed me on the a127 (60 limit) for about 20 minutes and i was just sat at 50mph the whole time as i was trying to save on petrol. they took the same turning as me and as soon as they realised i was going down a dark country lane, they pulled into a layby
always scared though just incase they check my front side tints which are 50%

lol! I'm always being followed but in towns etc i really don't like going over 30, not with so many police around, i also like driving slow when its sunny as well! but once its a 60 zone etc on a nice clear road then sometimes it happens! but police are all over Notts since mfn has started back up so i wont risk it much atm! lose my car friday morning anyway...bring on the respray! cops won't no it's me when it comes to may
