Yeah or nay??? Always liked the look of them wierdly enough and think the driving posotion is better than the phase 2's.

Any major faults (apart from it's french)???

dont put non gen spark plugs on the clio sports. the slightly different resistances can mess about with the diag line.

Well. as you may expect. with it being french especialy renault. You get an awfull lot of cabin noise (ratles and knocks etc) yer the driving position is slightly funny. BUT if you can live with that and the poorish build quality then there a great car. Had one for 3 months. only other thing i'd say is if you give it loads of punishment the brakes tend to fade quite quickly though i have been assure with a quick pad upgrade they are alot better.

if you were bored of your 106gti then you will bore of one of these, essentially they offer a similar drive, similar performance etc, but just a bit more refined

Yeah your probably right steveo! Not keeping this for long but IMO they hold there value well at the moment so won't lose much $$$ if any.

tbh i think they are abit ugly and would rather a ph2, though my mate had a ph1 and loved it until he wrote it off.

this review is abit offputing however
