Got in my car at 7 to go to gym, turned the key in the ignition .... nothing

I think the battery is dead, i have no charger, no jump leads, Richies gone to work (takes him an hour to get there) and a taxi to work would cost me about £30, or 2/3 buses and 2 hours

What should i do

I rang my boss and she said to get into work as soon as i could, but i'm not paying for bus/taxi

Its the alternator.

Belt has been slipping for ages.... im hoping that the alternator hasnt gone though.

Will look at it tonight

ask your neighbours if theyve got any jump leads. its what i did when my battery went flat
